Giraffe Park Giraffe Park
Giraffe Park is located in the Langata area on the outskirts of Nairobi. The park was built in 1983 and covers an area of more than 560,000 square meters. The founder, Jock, is also the founder of the "African Endangered Wildlife Foundation". In the 1970s, Rothschild giraffes were on the verge of extinction, with only 130 left in western Kenya in 1973. In order to save this rare species, the Jock couple adopted the method of adoption and release into the wild. Today, the number of Rothschild giraffes has reached nearly 500. In 1979, Jock decided to establish a nature education center. By allowing tourists to feed giraffes in person, it helped people understand the importance of harmonious coexistence between man and nature and the importance of protecting wild animals. After raising funds from various sources, the Giraffe Park was officially established in 1983.

Amboseli is a broad, arid plain, with the horizon stretching toward the ends of the earth until it merges with the horizon.
