Across the world-famous Drake Passage, you can enjoy onboard lectures or observe wildlife on the deck, preparing for the Antarctic surprises ahead. Passing through the Drake Strait, a famous waterway between the South American continent and the Antarctic Peninsula, sailing south for about 600 nautical miles, you will gradually discover ice floes, icebergs, seabirds, and whales. During your journey across the ocean to Antarctica, you'll receive on-board lectures on Antarctic history and wildlife, and you'll receive a comprehensive guide to visiting this fragile environment. The Antarctic Treaty not only distances the continent from military influence, but also covers various regulations for activities here. We have always adhered to these principles to ensure that fragile environments are not disturbed. Onboard lectures also help with this, so you get the most out of the experience. In addition, jackets will be distributed and borrowed landing boots will be collected on board.

In order to avoid the impact of alien species on the Antarctic environment, the cruise ship arranges timely dust removal activities: thoroughly clean and inspect clothing, check all clothing, including pockets, seams, Velcro and soles, and remove dust and organic matter

Itinerary:

After arriving at the Antarctic Peninsula, the captain and expedition leader will arrange various landing and cruising activities depending on the weather and ice conditions to enjoy the Antarctic Peninsula. During these days in Antarctica, you will enjoy landings, shore walks, ice rafting, and seeing tens of thousands of penguins and seals. There are also several lectures on Antarctic biology and history on the ship, as well as the "Little Explorer Program" for children. The itinerary is arranged with safety first and is fully decided by the captain and the ship's expedition leader. When the time, weather and ice conditions are met and comply with the regulations of international management organizations, we will selectively log in or cruise to some of the following locations or other possible areas to book destinations, such as: Half Moon Island, Deception Island, Wilhelmina Bay, Cuverville Island, Brown Station, Lemire Waterway, etc.

Refer to the introduction of landing or cruising points:

Although [Half Moon Island] covers an area of 1.7 square kilometers, a large number of chinstrap penguins live on the jagged cliffs of the island. Seals, seagulls, skuas, terns, petrels, cormorants and other species also appear here. If you have the opportunity to land on Half Moon Island, you will have many opportunities to photograph wildlife with the magnificent Antarctic scenery as the background.

[Deception Island], also known as Deception Island, is a unique island composed of a circular volcanic crater, which is submerged inside by sea water. Because the narrow strait like Poseidon's bellows is very hidden and difficult to be found, it is named after it. The active volcano here was close to erupting in 1970, and the entire island was covered in ash. Until now, the water near the beach is as warm as a hot spring, forming a unique Antarctic scenery.

[Wilhelmina Bay] The towering mountains and deep glaciers on the surrounding Antarctic Peninsula make people marvel at the ice and water.

of magic and charm. Wilhelmina Bay was once frequented by whalers as it was home to whales and seals

A place to eat. If weather and ice conditions permit, you can also use our polar boat to see the old whaling ship up close.

[Cuverville Island] is located in the picturesque Herrera Strait and is also one of the habitats of Gentoo penguins. The narrow Strait of Herrera is a spectacular channel leading to and from Cuverville Island. Surrounded by icebergs rooted in the water. When the cruise ship passes among the icebergs and looks around from the observation deck, you will be surprised to see a colony of penguins nesting on the shore.

[Brown Station] This is a scientific research station established in Argentina in 1951. Brown Station is now abandoned, leaving only the buildings at that time. Brown Station is really

The guardians of the good are penguins, and you can see a large number of golden penguins here.

[Lemaire Channel] The Lemaire Channel, also known as the Lemaire Channel, is an ice-covered black channel between the Antarctic Peninsula and

The narrow sea area between the rocky mountains and small islands and the magnificent and beautiful scenery on both sides represent the beauty of Antarctica. However, because the width of both sides of the river is only 1.6 kilometers, and there are still many ice floes and broken ice accumulation on the water surface, the passable water channel is only about 800 meters narrow.
