Chile’s land is nestled against the Andes Mountains and the Pacific coast. Its valleys, abundant sunshine, rain, and temperature difference between day and night make it excellent grape growing conditions. board【Santa Lucia Mountain】(Cerro Santa Lucia), originally a military fortress built in 1541, is a famous scenic spot. Beginning in 1872, the San Diego city government began to transform it into a garden. It transported a large amount of plant soil to the mountain and planted a variety of palm trees, cacti, and drought-resistant flowers and plants. It also transported exquisite and unique statues, fountains, street lamps, stone vases, etc. from Europe to decorate the garden. There are red flowers, green trees and towering ancient trees on the mountain. The ancient castle from the colonial era still stands, dominating the city below. Standing at the lookout on Mount Santa Lucia, you have an unobstructed view of Santiago.【Plaza de Armas】It is the most important square in Santiago and the center of the grid layout of Santiago's colonial old town. There are several metal plates on the ground of the square, recording the time when Santiago was founded and the evolution of the city. There are many historical buildings surrounding the square, including neoclassical buildings.【Santiago Metropolitan Cathedral】and【National Museum】(Appearance)Then go to visit the tall bronze statue of Allende.【Plaza de La Constitución】and located in the square[Presidential Palace (La Moneda Palace)] (Exterior), meaning currency in Spanish, was a mint before Chile got rid of Spanish colonial rule in the early 19th century, so La Moneda Palace is also an important cultural relic site.
