Today you will go to the airport to check in for your flight to Xi’an, China. Due to the time difference, it is recommended to confirm the local time and depart 1day in advance, the exact time is subject to the arrival time, please choose an early flight to arrive. You will be spending the night on the plane, which may be cold, so it is recommended that you bring warm clothing. Please check all documents carefully, such as passports, visas, Taiwan Compatriot Permits, etc.

Arriving in Xi'an today, we will arrange a pick-up and then transfer you to the hotel to check in.

Terracotta Warriors of Qin Mausoleum- the performance 'The Resurrected Legion'-Huaqing Pond-the show ‘The Legend of the Camel Bell’

After breakfast, take the bus to the Terracotta Warriors of Qin Mausoleum, one of China's World Heritage Sites (driving time is estimated to be 1 hour, tour time is estimated to be 2.5 hours, including scenic spot battery car)

Terracotta Warriors

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Mausoleum were discovered in 1974 and officially opened as the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum of the First Qin Emperor in 1979. The Terracotta Warriors are known as the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ and one of the ‘Ten Rare Treasures of the World's Ancient Tombs’, and were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1987. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the First Qin Emperor are not only a symbol of the glorious civilisation of ancient China, but also one of the great discoveries in the world's archaeological history. The discovery and study of the Terracotta Warriors provide valuable physical information about the military, politics, economy, culture and art of the Qin Dynasty. The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are in a good state of preservation, demonstrating the superior skills of ancient craftsmen and the grand scale of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor.

Huaqing Pond

Huaqing Palace, which enjoys the reputation of ‘the first hot spring in the world’, is one of the famous hot springs and royal gardens in China, which is known as one of the four major royal gardens in China along with Summer Palace, Yuanmingyuan Garden and Chengde Summer Resort.

Huaqing Pond is not only a tourist attraction, but also an important place to study the culture and history of the Tang Dynasty. In autumn, Huaqing Palace is the next level of beauty!

Expect to return to downtown Xi'an for dinner at 6.30pm, then we exclusively arrange the once-in-a-lifetime show ‘The Legend of the Camel Bell’.

If you are willing to get up early in the morning, you can climb the Ming Dynasty City Wall at 6:00 or 7:00 with the sunrise.

Ming Dynasty City Wall

Xi'an City Wall, one of the largest and best-preserved ancient city walls in China, is the only one among the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and also one of the must-visit attraction in Xi'an.Come to the city wall in October and November, the autumn of Xi'an is very beautiful.

1. It is recommended to wear flat shoes to visit the city wall, as the main modes of exploration are walking and cycling;

2. It is not recommended to walk the whole way, it is a long journey;

You can also sleep until you wake up naturally, after breakfast, leave from the hotel around 9:30 to visit Shaanxi History Museum (closed every Monday) or Beilin Museum (alternative option)

Shaanxi History Museum

Xi'an is the ancient capital of 13 dynasties, starting from the Western Zhou Dynasty and ending with the Tang Dynasty. The Shaanxi History Museum is the first modern national museum in China and is known as the ‘Pearl of the Ancient Capital and the Treasure of China’. The glory of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties can be witnessed here, with a collection of 1,717,950,000 cultural relics (groups), ranking among the top museums in China, and the legendary history of the mighty China is hidden in this piece of exquisite cultural relics.

Xi'an Beilin Museum

Founded in 1087 A.D., this ancient museum is the earliest cultural treasure in Shaanxi, the first of the four major Beilin monument in China, and is known as the ‘Hall of Calligraphy Art’. Located near the Yongning Gate at the foot of the Xi'an City Wall, the museum is not only rich in collections, but also possesses many heavyweight cultural relics. The collection spans more than 1,000 years of history from the Han and Tang dynasties to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and each piece is a witness to history. Walking into the Beilin Museum, you will be shocked by the art of calligraphy here.

After lunch, we will take you into the Xi'an Chang'an Twelve Hours Theme Block, travelling through the millennium and experiencing the great Tang Dynasty.

Chang'an Twelve Hours Theme District

China's first immersive Tang-style city life block, with dance pavilions and singing platforms, it feels like travelling to the flourishing Tang Dynasty. There are performances at every time, including Tang music, intangible cultural heritage shadow puppetry, juggling, music and dance, and other kinds of performances. The neighbourhood also has a snack street, where you can trade gold and silver, and a wide range of handicrafts that you will love.

Bell and Drum Tower Square

After strolling through the Twelve Hours neighbourhood, we come to the central square of Xi'an - [Bell and Drum Tower Square], where the morning bells and the evening drums are heard. The Bell and Drum Tower of Xi'an was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of more than 600 years. The Bell Tower is an attic-style building with a heavy eaves and a three-drop four-cornered spire, built on a square base made of green bricks and white plaster. The Drum Tower is one of the largest and best-preserved of the many drum towers left in ancient China, built four years earlier than the Bell Tower, and located on the west side of the Bell Tower.

Hui Min Street

When you come out of the Bell and Drum Towers, you must visit Hui Min Street, a street that has been the heart of Xi'an's Muslim community since ancient times and is rich in historical and cultural elements. The old buildings along the street, the richly scented food stalls, and the bustling crowds of people make up the charm of this ancient city .

Tonight we will not provide dinner, you can taste nearly 300 kinds of special flavourful snacks in Hui Min Street, which will definitely satisfy your taste buds.

 

Tonight, take you to the must-see place in Xi'an [Great Tang All Day Mall+ Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square].

as the lights on, you can step into Chang'an (the ancient name of Xi'an) in an instant,and you can really feel the prosperity of the Great Tang Dynasty .

Tips: The Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City is very beautiful, and it is  really crowded. The performance may be adjusted, and you may have to queue up. so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Manchuan Ancient Town

After breakfast, take the bus to Wudang Mountain, via Manchuan Ancient Town, which is named because of its vast landscape and broad waters, and because of the dangerous terrain, it has always been a place of war, known as the Qin and Chu Throat Fortress. Therefore, it has become a border trade town, a famous cultural town and a thousand-year-old town. In the long river of history, it has absorbed the cultures of Qin and Chu, forming a unique charm. When you walk in it, you will find that there are many historical relics such as Ming and Qing Dynasty stone old streets, Thousand Buddha Cave, Yangshao Ruins and so on. Walking into a small shop, you may be able to find a handicraft that makes your heart sing, or taste the local speciality food, the satisfaction is really beyond words.

Wudang Mountain

After lunch in Manchuan Ancient Town, you will head to the Wudang Mountain, the holy place of Taoism in China, enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way. Wudang Mountain is a famous Taoist mountain in China and the birthplace of Wudang Wushu, known as the ‘Ancient Unrivalled Scenic Spot, the First fairy Mountain in the World’, and an important birthplace of Taoist Taiji culture. Walk into Wudang Mountain and explore the mystery of Taiji with Wudang Taoist priests.

After arriving at the entrance of the scenic area, take the special bus to the scenic area on Wudang Mountain to the Zinyin Health Hotel for check in.

Our specially selected Wudang Mountain Taihe Ziyin Health Hotel is a boutique hotel with the theme of ‘Taoist Health Art’ and ‘Aesthetic Life’. The hotel is located in a perfect location and is decorated in an antique style, which has been described by guests as the ‘most beautiful’ hotel in Wudang.

The hotel has prepared a delicious dinner for us, enjoy dinner!

Tonight, we specially arrange for you to learn Wudang Health Practice following the Wudang Mountain Taoist - Authentic Baduanjin, if you are interested, you can go to learn, or choose to rest in the room.

Itinerary: Prince's Slope - Taoist Medicine Experience - Golden Peak

Wake up in a fairy mountain full of spiritual energy, practice a piece of authentic health-enhancing eight-duan-jin with an exclusive invited Wudang Taoist Master in the sunrise, with clouds, sunrise and birdsong, you will love this experience.

Prince's Slope

The Prince's Slope Ancient Architectural Complex is the starting point of the whole Wudang Mountain attractions, which is located on the 60-degree steep slope of the Lion Peak of Wudang Mountain. The gate of Taizi slope is a long ancient road, because the road surface is like undulating waves, also called ‘nine curved yellow river wall’, this ancient road is one of the popular attractions of Wudang Mountain Scenic Area assortment, the red walls and green tiles are very beautiful to take picture.

Lunch is specially arranged in Prince's Slope to savour the local farmer's local chicken soup, which will bring your taste buds a different kind of satisfaction.

Taoist Medicine Experience

In the afternoon, we have invited a non-heritage Taoist doctor from Baxian Guan to give a lecture, to have a magical Taoist medical experience and learn about a special method of health care. Under the guidance of the Taoist doctor, we will learn how to regulate the body and mind and maintain good health. By experiencing the secret Taoist health preservation method, you will feel the relaxation and pleasure of your body and mind.

Golden Peak

Around 3 or 4pm, we head to the Golden Peak, Wudang's most famous scenic spot, to climb up to the Golden Peak to watch the sunset spreading across the sky (round-trip ropeway included).

The Gold Peak Scenic Area is the essence and symbol of Wudang Mountain, where the sea of clouds is beautiful and full of the spirit of heaven and earth. The many ancient buildings in the Golden Dome scenic area preserve a large number of statues, offerings, magic vessels and other cultural relics and treasures made in various dynasties, making it a splendid pearl of ancient Chinese architecture and casting craftsmanship. The Golden Dome has a long history, and the Tianzhu Peak where it is located is known as Xuanwu in Taoist culture because of its shape, symbolising mystery and power. The Golden Dome scenic spot integrates Taoist architecture and natural scenery, reflecting the concept of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

Note: Climbing to the Golden Peak will consume a lot of physical strength, if you are not feeling well or it is not convenient to climb the mountain, you can choose to go to the Zixiao Palace on your own (with scenic area ferry bus) or rest in the hotel, the hotel has a lot of exclusive speciality courses, such as Guqin appreciation, Taiji painting and calligraphy, Taiji performance + Guqin, etc. (the cost needs to be taken care of by yourself, and you need to book the enrolment in advance), or you can just sit idly on the top floor observatory, sip a pot of tea, and quietly look at the sea of clouds changing.

After dinner, we will continue to arrange the Wudang Taoist Master for a Taoist Medicine Lecture (Tea Ceremony or Incense Ceremony, etc.), and the Taoist Master himself will teach and share the mysterious and magical Taoist Medicine knowledge (if you are interested, you can go to learn, or rest in your room).

Wudang Mountain - Yichang

Itinerary: Southern Rock Palace

Wake up this morning and continue to practice the authentic Eight-Section Brocade in the sunrise with the exclusive invited Wudang Taoist Masters, or get up early (6:00am) and hike to the Zixiao Palace in the morning light for a unique morning blessing ceremony. Every morning, the Taoist temple in Wudang Mountain holds a morning ceremony, where Taoist masters recite sutras to pray for blessings and perform ritual actions such as worship to express their reverence and gratitude to the gods of heaven and earth. Zixiao Palace was called ‘Zixiao Blessed Land’ by Emperor Ming Chengzu, and we attended the morning and evening classes together with the Taoist masters to get some blessings.

After the morning class, you can go to the Taoist temple to have breakfast, and then take the scenic bus back to the hotel. If you do not go to Zixiao Palace, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel.

Zixiao Palace

Zixiao Palace is one of the best-preserved ancient buildings in Wudang Mountain. Covering an area of about 274,000 square metres, Zixiao Palace was first built in 1121, and is not only one of the important birthplaces of Taoist culture in Wudang Mountain, but also an important place for tourists to learn more about Taoist culture. The architectural style of Zixiao Palace is unique and beautifully decorated, demonstrating the high level of architectural art in the Ming Dynasty. The main buildings include the Hall of Dragon and Tiger, the Pavilion of Stele, the Hall of Ten Directions, the Hall of Zixiao and the Hall of Parents, etc. These buildings are built on the mountain and are magnificent.

Southern Rock Palace

After breakfast we join together for a hiking tour of Wudang Mountain's South Rock Palace, one of the major palaces of the Wudang School of Chinese Taoism.

Nan Yan is not a temple, but an entire south-facing craggy rock + two sets of hanging palaces built on the crag in the Yuan and Ming dynasties, which is one of the most beautiful, most treacherous, and most interesting places to see in the whole Wudang Mountain. South Rock Palace was built in 1285, after repeated construction, the existing part of the main building for the Ming and Qing dynasties to repair the remains. Nan Yan Palace is not only a representative Taoist complex among the nine palaces of Wudang Mountain, but also a centre for the spread of Taoist culture.

After lunch at Nanyan we will go down the mountain and go all the way (250km, about 3-4 hours) directly to Yichang. Upon arrival hotel check-in and rest.

Tonight we will stay in Yichang, specially upgraded Crowne Plaza Hotel Executive Suite, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yangtze River from your room.

Tonight our AB group members will gather together and will start tomorrow's Three Gorges Cruise, so tonight we have arranged a special gathering banquet of Yichang's fat fish.

Interceptor Memorial Park is the first water conservancy project theme park in China with the theme of intercepting the Three Gorges Project, integrating the functions of sightseeing, science popularisation, performance and recreation, etc. It shows the historical scene of intercepting the Three Gorges Project, and reproduces the spectacular scene of intercepting the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River through modern high-tech phantom imaging technology, which makes you feel as if you were in the construction scene of that year.

After lunch, visit the Three Gorges Migration Museum and Memorial Temple to Qu Yuan. Qu Yuan Memorial Temple is an ancient building built to commemorate Qu Yuan in 820 A.D. It is not only an important place for commemorating Qu Yuan, but also an important window to understand Qu Yuan's life story and Chu culture. Many relics and exhibits related to Qu Yuan are displayed in the Shrine, demonstrating his life story and the influence of his works on future generations.

Afterwards, we will head to the pier to board the ship and start our cruise on the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. We are travelling on the Explorer, the most luxurious cruise ship on the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, as well as the most expensive, with the best service, the best meals and the fewest passengers! It is also the first and largest cruise ship in the world to be able to pass directly through the boat lift.

Guanmen Mountain (with Shennongjia Nature Museum Professional Guide,  Panda Pavilion)

It is a place full of natural mysteries, with a concentration of more than 2,500 species of plants ranging from subtropical to cold temperate zones. There are a total of 16 specialised pavilions, including the Giant Salamander Pavilion, Nature Museum, Science Museum, Biology Pavilion, Panda Pavilion and Bee Pavilion, where the Dakun, a living fossil that was contemporaneous with the dinosaurs 300 million years ago, the Panda, a national treasure, as well as a large number of wild animals. You can see a variety of rare plants and animals, as well as cute pandas. And in Guanmen Mountain in autumn, the mountains and forests are colourful, as if you have entered a fairy tale world.

Shennong Peak

After lunch, we will go to Shennongjia core scenic spot Shennong Deng, which is a combination of many small attractions, with an altitude of 3106.2 metres, known as the ‘Roof of Central China’, and the scenery is more primitive and mysterious. As a national nature reserve and 5A level scenic spot, Shennong Peak is also the NO.1 scenic spot among the six scenic spots in Shennongjia. We will take bus directly to the top of the mountain to experience the ‘No.1 Peak in Central China’.

Dalongtan

Today we will have an exclusive visit to the wild golden monkeys of Shennongjia - Dalongtan + travelling through the pristine forest to the Golden Monkey Ridge Waterfall.

Dalongtan, one of the core attractions of Shennongjia Scenic Area, is a deep pool formed by a stream flowing through the mountains, with crystal clear water, surrounded by dense forests and mountains, forming a beautiful natural picture. A variety of protected animals live around Dalongtan, especially golden monkeys. This is the main activity area for golden monkeys, and visitors can observe the wild life of golden monkeys up close.

Golden Monkey Ridge, 3019 metres above sea level, and the Golden Monkey Ridge Waterfall is the iconic landscape of Golden Monkey Ridge. The waterfall is hidden amidst the winding paths and trees, winding and gurgling down to form a four-stage waterfall. We will lead you on a light hike through the primitive forest of the Golden Monkey Ridge, where mosses of different shapes and sizes are found on the rocks in the streams, and in the woods where the mosses spread along the bottom of the trees as if they were wearing a furry green coat, which will definitely satisfy your every imagination of the primitive forest.

Afterwards,  we will go to the pier to board the cruise ship and start a pleasant leisure time on board.

After breakfast, the cruise ship will pass through the deep and beautiful Wu Gorge, which is like entering a meandering gallery, full of poetic and picturesque. After arriving at Wushan, we will go ashore to visit the Wushan Goddess Sky Road.

Goddess Sky Road hovering between the cliffs, the total length of 12 kilometres, the average altitude of more than 1,200 metres, you can take a sightseeing car tour, along the way is distributed with a number of viewing platforms, standing in the landscape platform you can overlook the Wushan Gorge, across the river across the Goddess Peak, the Goddess Temple, but also can enjoy the red leaves of the ten thousand mountains, the clouds and rain of the Wushan Mountain. Three Gorges Summit(Three Gorges Peak): Located at the head of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, it is the highest physical form and the most beautiful landscape form of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, with an elevation of 1,388 metres, stretching more than 10 kilometres from Zuofangtou in the north, Baishanshan in the south, Baidi Poetry City in the west, and Wushan Airport in the east. The top of the Three Gorges is not only a masterpiece of natural landscape, but also one of the birthplaces of Chinese poetry, with rich cultural connotations.

Codename 816, one of China's top secrets; started in 1966, declassified in 2002, China's nuclear raw materials base, is the world's largest artificial cave body, the only domestic nuclear reactor can be visited. The whole project is more than 20 kilometres long, with a total area of more than 100,000 square metres, 18 large caverns, and the main cavern is as high as 79.6 metres, which is higher than a 12-storey building, as spectacular as an underground palace. Sixty thousand engineers dug for 18 years, hollowing out the entire mountain, and the cave has holes and intertwined roots, so you can't get out without a guide.

This place is now also a paradise for photographers, whether it is the grandeur of the cave, or those left mechanical equipment, are excellent subjects for photography.

Since it was never put into production, there is no nuclear radiation, so it is safe to visit.

After breakfast, we will get off the boat, and then drive to Chongqing Huangshan [Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall], which is the value embodiment of Chongqing's important historical position and important historical contribution during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and an important relic and carrier of history and culture, objectively recording the history of Chongqing as the wartime capital of China during the Anti-Japanese War.

Afterwards, go to [Stilwell Museum], from 1942 to 1944, U.S. Army Lieutenant General Stilwell was ordered to come to Chongqing to serve as Chief of Staff of the United Allied Forces China Theater and Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Army's China-Burma-India Theater of Operations, where he lived at that time. General Stilwell's bedroom, office, adjutant's quarters, conference rooms, and basements have been restored, and more than 100 items from the past, including household items, manuscripts, and military uniforms, are also displayed in the museum.

After lunch, we will visit the Ciqikou Ancient Town, a national 4A level scenic spot, also known as ‘Little Chongqing’. The town contains rich culture and various kinds of snacks, you can taste authentic Chongqing snacks.

Then we will visit the ‘Liziba Light Rail Through Building Viewing Platform’, where the light rail is travelling in the sky and passes through a residential building, reflecting the perfect combination of Chongqing city and mountains.

Then we will take a bus to the Chongqing landmark - [Jiefangbei], in the Bayi Road Snack Street to taste the flavourful snacks.

Afterwards, we will go to [Hongyadong] to feel the perfect integration of the river view and city style, with a 75-metre-high extraordinary drop, up the cliff, high and low, built on the mountain, and become the world's attention, a unique and beautiful city business card. The imitation hammock-style architecture, magical retreat and height difference, and the colourful night scenery will leave tourists in awe.

No meal is included tonight, leaving enough time for everyone to find their favourite Chongqing delicacies.

Luggage & Vehicle:

We operate various types of vehicles, including buses, mid-sized buses, and 9-seater minibuses. While large buses have luggage racks, mid-sized and minibuses have limited space. We recommend carrying only essential luggage to ensure one seat per person.

Refunds and Changes Policy

Trip Cancellation Policy

ü Full Refund: Cancel your trip 60 or more days before departure.

ü Processing Fee Refund: Cancel between 30 and 59 days before departure, and a 10% administration fee will apply.

ü Partial Refund: Cancel between 18 and 29 days before departure, and 50% of the total order amount will be charged.

ü Non-Refundable: Cancellations made within 17 days of departure are non-refundable due to confirmed vehicle and hotel bookings, but a friend can be substituted in your place.

Additional Notes

ü The cancellation policy does not cover tours that include airfare and cruises, as they are governed by the respective airline and cruise line policies.

Explanation of Additional Charges

Ø If the airline alters its fares due to policy changes, you will be required to pay the difference in accordance with the airline's regulations. Please note that group tickets are not eligible for changes, exchanges, or refunds.

Ø Should the policy adjustments of the destination country result in additional costs for items not included in the itinerary or related services, the price difference must be settled in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Change of Booking Policy:

In cases where guests are unable to join the tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., transportation breakdowns, illness, weather changes), we will strive to minimize losses, but we cannot assume the costs associated with these changes. Specific guidelines for visa changes are as follows:

1. Over 59 days before departure: No fees apply for extensions, itinerary changes, or name changes.

2. Between 30 and 59 days before departure (inclusive): A 10% fee of the total tour price will be charged for extensions or itinerary changes.

3.  Within 30 days of departure (inclusive): No fees for name changes if the guest finds a replacement; however, if we assist in finding a suitable replacement, a 25% fee of the total tour price will be charged as a visa change service fee.

4. Obtaining a visa from the destination country's embassy or consulate is not the only requirement for international travel. You must also pass through border checkpoints and obtain entry/exit authorization from other countries' immigration authorities. Failure to secure these authorizations due to personal reasons will be your responsibility.

II. Health Status and Excursion Activity Risks:

1. Accurately disclose your health condition and past medical history to the travel agency. Based on this, we will recommend suitable tour packages and advise a medical examination. If you choose to participate despite our advice, we assume you are medically fit. Individuals aged 65 and above should be accompanied by family members, and minors by their parents or guardians. We may also require relevant individuals to purchase travel insurance..

2. In case of personal or property safety emergencies abroad, seek assistance from the tour operator, local government, or relevant organizations. Costs incurred will be your responsibility.

3. In case of a sudden illness during the trip, the travel agency will make every effort to arrange for your prompt medical treatment. However, due to the unique conditions and time constraints of outbound tourism, the agency may not always be able to fully cater to your specific requirements or take you to your designated medical institutions. 6. When participating in attractions or free activities in foreign countries, please ensure to follow the instructions of your guide and take note of relevant safety tips. Choose activities that are suitable for your physical condition and refrain from engaging in any activities that may be harmful or pose a risk to your health. Travelers with the following conditions are particularly advised to exercise caution: those with a history of cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, mental illness, asthma, cervical spondylosis, or any recurring health issues not mentioned. Additionally, individuals over 55 years of age and pregnant women are discouraged from participating in activities such as sea travel, scuba diving, swimming, surfing, hiking (including climbing), rafting, skiing, horseback riding, paragliding, hot air ballooning, helicopter rides, desert buggy rides, desert motorcycling, sand dashing activities, cross-country trekking, cable car rides exceeding 10 floors, aerial tramway rides, thrill rides in amusement parks, and any activities involving close contact with wildlife.
